Doing our P.A.R.T. (Pet Anxiety Response Team)

Just last month, Hurricane Florence was literally in our back yard. As a North Carolina-based company, many of our employees witnessed firsthand the effects of this devastating storm. In response, our staff volunteered to form the Pet Anxiety Response Team.

These caring associates were able to personally visit and deliver much needed supplies to pets and people both before and after the storm hit. We joined an amazing collection of other volunteer groups and individuals to deliver several truck-loads of supplies to some of the hardest hit areas in Eastern North Carolina, as well as other shelters and rescues. Check out the above video to see a little of this effort.

ThunderWorks wants to thank our many employees who gave their time to make deliveries and support our efforts during this difficult time. It always feels great to help dogs and cats in need. Plus, let’s be honest – who doesn’t want to spend a work day making new furry friends?

So to all of the people who volunteered their time, resources, and physical labor, thanks for being better humans!

ThunderWorks – Bringing Calm Wherever We Can

It’s no secret that pet shelters and animal rescues can be very stressful places for dogs and cats. Besides having lost their previous human companions, these pets waiting for new forever homes are often overloaded with unfamiliar animals, people, smells, sights, and sounds. We are so happy and privileged that we have the opportunity to help where we can. Over the past 9 years, we have donated tens of thousands of ThunderShirts to hundreds of shelters and rescue groups across the country, including all 50 states!
